Emberfall Legends

Emberfall Legends is the kind of mobile RPG that respects the fact you might be reading its dialogue in a waiting room. Battles are turn-based and pause-friendly, and you can tap through a fight or carefully set up your party's skills depending on how much brainpower you have spare.

The party system is the heart of it. You recruit a handful of characters, each with a distinct role, and the real fun is figuring out combinations. A tank who taunts, a mage who stacks burn, a healer who also buffs crit damage. It clicks together satisfyingly once you understand it.

The story won't win awards but it's told with warmth, and the world has enough small lore details to make the travelling feel worthwhile. There's grinding, as there always is, but it never felt mandatory to keep up with the main quest.
